An Orangery is a unique home extension as it brings together the key elements of a ‘proper’ building with that sense of permanence and comfort you’d expect from any room in your home, but with many of the benefits associated with a conservatory in linking the garden to the home allowing you to enjoy the outdoors lifestyle from indoors.

In this style of building we employ all the traditional construction methods of brick & steel as it must meet the highest technical standards laid down by building control. In the majority of cases we would look to exceed the minimum requirements particularly with regard to the thermal properties of the building, which in todays environment is essential reflecting future costs. It is in the nature of this type of project that many of the costs are hidden within the method of construction so as part of the design process we will present a comprehensive set of detailed architectural drawings to help you to understand what is necessary to achieve the very high quality standard we have set as our performance bench mark. The following nine case studies will give you a flavour for the diversity of Orangery style buildings we can offer, however we have never built the same one twice so we love a new challenge!
