The requirements of this project were simple, to build a classic Orangery, styled in a traditional manner to match the property using modern PVCu frames. It was important that details were as close in appearance to the windows & doors of the existing frames so effort was made to source matching products. The new space was to serve as a day room off the kitchen with open views of manicured gardens which our customer had professionally designed & landscaped to continue the classic theme of the architecture but in a modern context.

The georgian bar design within the sealed units incorporated Astragal bars that simulate traditional individual timber glazed panes. The construction was designed around a free standing steel portal frame whereby the brickwork & framework dressed the building and were not structural.
