The Brief
Having just purchased this property as part of down sizing, the proposed conservatory was part of a major refurbishment and changes to the floor plan layout, converting the current rear bedroom into the kitchen creating open plan living with the addition of the new building. All the necessary structural alterations were carried out removing a section of wall and install a new structural beam (RSJ) to open up the proposed kitchen.

In part, the project was also driven by the desire to develop the small rear garden into a leisure area centred around a 5m x 3m in ground swim spa, which we supplied and installed as part of our Freedom Leisure brand. The bi-fold doors lending themselves to creating seamless access for socialising, and enjoying the luxury lifestyle of the spa experience.

Design Notes

To provide a contrast with the existing property a premium finish of monocouche render was used on the walls rather than a standard cement render, which is available in a range of textures and colours for a virtually no maintenance durable finish. 

Intergraded blinds within the sealed units of the bi-fold doors guarantee privacy and comfort.
