This project played to our company strengths in that it required an integrated approach in offering a design to construct a conservatory including a separate toilet & utility room, but in the context of overhauling the garden landscaping to take advantage of the new building. The fact that all the work could be designed, managed, and carried out in house gave our customer peace of mind, and the confidence that their expectations would be met.

Due to seeing a growing demand for a ground floor toilet and space to house a washing machine & tumble dryer we have developed a number of ways to simply bring this added value into our numerous styles of building. It can in fact be achieved within an area of 2.5m x 1.1m providing there is easy access to the waste drainage system.

In this case provision was made for a washing machine and a new boiler installed above thereby releasing an area within the kitchen for improvements. Also featured was the installation of a ‘pocket’ sliding door to save space and a set of internal timber bi-fold doors to complete the high end finish.

The entire rear garden was stripped back and rebuilt to our landscape design to create a paved courtyard garden to make the most of a modest plot typical of today’s modern developments, which effectively extends the open living space of the conservatory into the outside, enabled by the twin aluminium bi-fold doors.
